Congratulations to everyone in the awards today (full results below) and many thanks to all the competitors for their support (inc. donating raffle prizes); totalling over 60 entries. For some it was their first WT, and others were stepping up into the next class, so we hope you enjoyed and benefited from the experience. It was a super day, lovely cool conditions to start with before turning into a blisteringly hot day. Hopefully we are allowed a little bit of bias(!) but it was just the most thrilling day to watch the Munsters win 1st in Puppy, 1st in Novice, 1st, 3rd and 4th in Open. Great results for our fabulous breed and their owners who handled their dogs admirably. Fred also handed out the awards.
This event would not have happened without the efforts and organisation skills of our Field Trial Secretary, so huge thanks to Helen Evans; ably supported by LMC Committee members Sarah (inc award cards), Erin, Andy, Nicky, Alison and Aly (inc rosettes). Thanks also to Tony Morrell, Andy and Lin Robins, Mick Day (catering) and Peter Disney (glass coaster awards). As ever, a big thank you to our judges and stewards who worked tirelessly all day. We are sure the judges’ support and feedback was appreciated by all the competitors. We are welcoming judges Gordon Haran (Magregor), Anne Orzel (Braxton) and Bill Orzel (Braxton) to the showground near Knutsford, Cheshire. We have our usual fantastic raffle along side the popular competative scurry, merchandise opportunities and additional Special Awards classes.
