The Large Munsterlander Club holds three shows a year, details of which will be published here.

Two Open Shows, one in February and one in October, with a large classification for both dogs and bitches. Each show has numerous trophies on offer.

The Championship Show is held in June, and at this one you can qualify for Crufts.

If you get either the Challenge Certificate or Reserve Challenge Certificate in either sex then you get a Stud Book number from the Kennel Club, which means you have qualified your Large Munsterlander for life to go to Crufts. You can also gain your Stud Book number by being placed first or second in Open Dog or Open Bitch. At the moment, to qualify for Crufts yearly you have to be placed first, second or third, in qualifying classes only.

You can bring your Large Munsterlander, or any other canine, along to watch by entering the show and putting 'Not for competition' by their name.

But please note new rule: As from 1st January 2007 dogs will not be accepted 'Not for Competition' if they are not registered with the Kennel Club.
