Information for potential owners

Would you like the opportunity to visit someone who already owns and has experience of living with or perhaps working and/or showing a Large Munsterlander?

We have owners throughout the country willing to spend time with you.   This means you can experience the breed first hand and talk about the joys and pitfalls of owning a Large Munsterlander. If you are researching the breed and wish to meet owners and their dogs, or to find details of available litters, please contact John MacGregor on 07747 800841 or 01389 732490.

Information for breeders

If you want to register your litter with the LMC, please look at the following and complete the form below.

  • Applicants agree to abide by the Large Munsterlander Club rules, and the ‘Guide for Large Munsterlander owners/members’ as issued by the LMC Management Committee, copies of which will be issued to enquirers.
  • Copies of DNA results and all other health certificates must accompany the application form.
  • To be eligible the owner of the bitch must be a current member of the LMC for at least 2 years.
  • Any breeder wishing to register more than one litter, due on or around similar dates, must ensure that Health Check documentation is received for ALL parents or none of the litters will be accepted.
  • Breeders who offer puppies who are the result of Artificial Insemination (AI) or Pet Passport matings must state clearly to prospective purchasers why the parents may not both conform to the UK Health screening requirements as outlined in the Guidelines issued by the management committee.
  • Litters are accepted on to the register at the discretion of the management committee.
